From electronic recycling campaigns and eco-markets to repurposing new or gently used products or taking public transit, there are tons of ways to get involved and give back to the planet this week.

Free BC Transit Rides | Tuesday | All day
Go car-free this Earth Day. All BC Transit routes in Greater Victoria will be free today to encourage sustainable travel across the region.
Upcycled by ReImagine Westshore | Tues to Sat | 10am-6pm
Browse a curated market of gently used and upcycled goods at Westshore Town Centre—plus an upcycled art show, information about sustainable living, and a tomato-plant challenge.
Earth Day Repurposing Campaign | April 22–May 22 | Daily 10am–4:30pm
Donate new or gently used hygiene products—like deodorant, toothpaste, or shampoo—to support Soap for Hope Canada’s month-long campaign. Drop-off locations include their William Street warehouse, Saje Wellness at Mayfair Mall, Canadian Tire at Hillside Mall, and Tillicum Centre. Your donations help reduce waste and support those in need.
